Although my needle issues are by no means resolved, I have no chewed-up corners from the fabric being sucked into my machine, which is progress.
Oh, how I love these colors. On our recent trip to Colorado, I may even have inadvertently purchased a most fabulous backing!

Your medallion is looking wonderful! The hand-dyes are so soft and beautiful. I am loving this mystery and luckily my colors are working well together.
