Monchromatic Challenge: Yellow Edition is complete!
My table runner dilemma complete, I now have washed and dried the table runner, so it's done! (Despite illness of all 5 members of my family - I finished this before I got sick but while the first two were recuperating.)
In the end, I opted for a new-to-me quilting option: I drew my design on a piece of tissue paper, then pinned the paper to the space. These flower are much more even than my completely-freehand designs in some of the other squares. I still didn't follow the lines exactly, but at least I had something to direct me. Most of the paper tore off easily, but even after washing, I see a few bits in the places where stitching is close together.
Alzbe, what do you think?

I absolutely adore the quilting!! You did a great job and I can't wait to use it on my table :). I needed some sunshine today, thank you, sissy!
I think it looks great. I just did a quilt with the tissue paper, hope mine turns out as nice as yours!
I love it!
Wonderful job on the quilting.... I need direction, too. I'm not a good doodler on paper so FMQ is tough for me. I like your idea of tissue paper.
It is wonderful! Good for you as that was "quite the challenge". Yellow isn't my color.
Just love it. You made yellow look beautiful. Inspiring. maybe I'll try a runner (I'm not a real quilter yet).
Very nice job on the quilting. I've tried the paper method but hated picking it out.
It is beautiful and the quilted flowers are perfect.
great job, your quilting is very nice. cw
Such a great table tunner. Love the quilting.
That is really lovely! I want to try your tissue paper idea, too. :)
I give the quilting a definite thumb's up!

This is darling! I love the flowers. I had used tissue paper once for quilting but haven't used it recently. Your post has encouraged me to do it again. Toni
The quilting turned out great! I love your flower wreaths!
What a great idea -- I have never used paper to quilt. I can see a blue tea pot sitting on your beautiful table runner. Perfect Job.
That's so cute! I use tissue paper often when I'm quilting a special design but pulling it out is such a PITA sometimes. I think your quilting looks fantastic.
VERY nice. Good quilting!
The quilting is just charming! I used the tissue paper method recently and liked it, but yes that paper can be difficult to get rid of. Congrats on your beautiful runner.
I really like your runner. And I'll have to keep the tissue in mind.
This turned out great. I will have to try the Tissue Paper idea myself. I struggle with the quilting part of finishing up a project. Wonderful, wonderful job!
I love this! You did a wonderful job - and with a sick family. Way to go!
It's lovely and the quilting looks fabulous. I've done that before but I used a little heavier weight and I was very pleased with how it finished up.
Your quilting is lovely. I like how you gradated the color on the runner.
