June Goals

May was busy.  Both kids graduated, and since we're not much of a party family, the celebrations were minimal.

1. Scraps were trimmed and flower blocks and 16 patches were made.

2. I basted and began the quilting on my hexagon quilt!

3. I finished the New York Beauty quilt and gave it away.  I received a lovely thank you.

4. I finished the blue blocks quilt!

5. For other sewing,  I added a row or two to the sunset jogakbo and made the chima (although I might have done that in June?).

June includes a week of classes as I work on reestablishing my teaching license.

1. Scraps: trim, blue flower blocks and blue 16 patches.

2. Quilt the hexagon quilt.  I'm using a small frame, and would like to finish the frame section four times.

3. Repair a crochet quilt.

4. Make a new ironing board cover as the old one is faded, stained, and the batting underneath is thoroughly squashed.

5. Make a weighted blanket.

Congrats on the graduations this year. You did well with May considering how much was going on. Good luck with your June goals.

August Block Count

I thought I wrote this, but it seems to be lost somewhere or I never wrote it at all… August was a quiet block month, with only 42 16-patch...
